Professional-use disclaimer
RoofRigor products are general-purpose workflow, inspection-documentation, reporting, education and business-organization tools. They are not a site-specific professional opinion and do not constitute engineering, architectural, legal, accounting, tax, insurance-coverage, adjusting, warranty, occupational-safety or code-compliance advice.
No substitute for professional judgment
Use of a RoofRigor form, checklist, guide, spreadsheet or report template does not replace the user’s training, qualifications, licensing, contractual duties, standard of care or independent professional judgment. The user remains solely responsible for determining the appropriate inspection scope, access method, safety controls, testing, sampling, technical references, applicable codes and standards, findings, causation opinions, recommendations and limitations for each assignment.
Roof and inspection limitations
A visual inspection and the use of standardized forms cannot guarantee detection of concealed, intermittent or inaccessible conditions. No template can account for every roof system, jurisdiction, manufacturer, contract, weather event, claim requirement or building condition. Users must document limitations, inaccessible areas, assumptions and the need for destructive testing, laboratory analysis, engineering review or other specialist investigation where appropriate.
Technical references
Codes, standards, manufacturer instructions, industry publications and other references can change. Any reference included in a RoofRigor product is a starting point only. The user must verify that the current edition, local adoption, amendment, product approval and project-specific requirement apply before relying on it.
No guaranteed outcome
RoofRigor does not guarantee that a report, estimate, checklist, finding or recommendation will be accepted by a client, insurer, court, regulator, authority having jurisdiction, warranty provider, manufacturer or other third party. RoofRigor does not guarantee a particular claim, legal, commercial, inspection, repair or replacement outcome.
Safety
Roof access and inspection work can involve serious hazards. RoofRigor materials are not a fall-protection plan, rescue plan, hazard assessment or substitute for applicable occupational health and safety requirements. Users must assess conditions and use qualified personnel, training, equipment and procedures appropriate to the work.
